About This Pest
Why They're Here
Mosquitoes breed in any amount of standing water — even a bottle cap's worth. Bird baths, clogged gutters, plant saucers, and low spots in the yard are all common breeding grounds.
What to Watch For
Bites after spending time in the yard, buzzing near your ears at dusk, and mosquitoes hovering around shady, damp areas of your property.

Scope of Our Service
What We Do
Bti larvicide treatment of standing water, source-reduction recommendations and mechanical source reduction (gutter clearing, container removal), and short-duration botanical perimeter knock-down applications.
What We Don't Do
We don't fog or mist your yard for adult mosquitoes — that requires Maryland MDA Category 7C licensing, which we don't currently hold. If you want yard fogging or barrier misting, we'll refer you to a 7C-licensed company.
Realistic Timeline
Larvicide and source reduction reduce mosquito breeding within 1–2 weeks. Plan on ongoing seasonal management May through October — not a 100% mosquito-free yard.

Our Natural Approach
Targeted Treatment
We use targeted, least-toxic treatments — botanical and mineral-based as the primary approach — to address the source of the problem, not just the symptoms. Our approach focuses on long-term results, not quick fixes.
Family-Conscious Formulas
Our primary toolkit is botanical and mineral-based, formulated to minimize risk to your family and pets. No synthetic pyrethroid sprays. Products are either EPA 25(b) exempt (essential-oil based) or EPA-registered minimum-risk pesticides (silica gel, borate).
How You Can Help
  • Empty standing water from plant saucers, buckets, and toys weekly.
  • Keep gutters clean and free of debris.
  • Trim back overgrown vegetation near seating areas.
  • Change bird bath water at least twice a week.
Family & Pet Considerations
Our treatments use botanical and mineral-based products to minimize risk to your family — children and pets included. Products are either EPA 25(b) exempt or EPA-registered minimum-risk. If we ever recommend an EPA-registered escalation product, we'll show you the label and explain it before applying.
