Spotted Lanternfly Care
Pest Care Guide
About This Pest
Why They're Here
The spotted lanternfly is an invasive species that feeds on the sap of trees and plants. They're spreading across the Mid-Atlantic region and are especially attracted to tree of heaven, grapevines, and many hardwoods.
What to Watch For
Colorful winged insects (gray with red underwings) on trees and outdoor surfaces, sticky honeydew residue on patios and plants, and sooty mold growth on affected areas.
Our Natural Approach
Targeted Treatment
We use targeted, botanical-based treatments to address the source of the problem — not just the symptoms. Our approach focuses on long-term results, not quick fixes.
Safe for Your Family
Everything we use is botanical-based and formulated to minimize risk to your family and pets. No synthetic pyrethroids. EPA 25(b) exempt.
How You Can Help
  • Check your property for tree of heaven and consider removing it (their preferred host).
  • Scrape off any egg masses you find on trees, stones, or outdoor furniture into a bag of rubbing alcohol.
  • Report sightings to your state agriculture department.
  • Keep an eye on grapevines, fruit trees, and hardwoods for feeding damage.
Family & Pet Considerations
Our treatments are botanical-based and formulated to minimize risk to your whole family — including children and pets. All products are EPA 25(b) exempt.
