About This Pest
Why They're Here
Ticks live in tall grass, leaf litter, and wooded areas. They're brought closer to your home by deer, mice, and other wildlife. Your yard's border with wooded or overgrown areas is where they're most concentrated.
What to Watch For
Ticks found on pets or family members after spending time outdoors, especially after walking through tall grass or near wooded edges.

Our Natural Approach
Targeted Treatment
We use targeted, least-toxic treatments — botanical and mineral-based as the primary approach — to address the source of the problem, not just the symptoms. Our approach focuses on long-term results, not quick fixes.
Family-Conscious Formulas
Our primary toolkit is botanical and mineral-based, formulated to minimize risk to your family and pets. Products are either EPA 25(b) exempt (essential-oil based) or EPA-registered minimum-risk pesticides (silica gel, borate).
How You Can Help
  • Keep your lawn mowed and trim back overgrown vegetation.
  • Create a 3-foot gravel or wood chip barrier between lawn and wooded areas.
  • Check pets and family members for ticks after being outside.
  • Remove leaf litter and brush piles from your yard.
Family & Pet Considerations
Our treatments use botanical and mineral-based products to minimize risk to your family — children and pets included. Products are either EPA 25(b) exempt or EPA-registered minimum-risk. If we ever recommend an EPA-registered escalation product, we'll show you the label and explain it before applying.
