Welcome to Herbal Shield. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Herbal Shield website, customer portal, and pest control services provided by Herbal Shield, LLC ("Herbal Shield," "we," "us," or "our"). By using our website or services, you agree to these Terms.
Herbal Shield provides worry-free pest control services using EPA 25(b) exempt, plant-derived and mineral-based products. Our services are designed to manage pests while minimizing risk to people, pets, and the environment.
We offer flexible service options including recurring protection plans and one-time treatments. Specific services, treatment frequencies, and coverage details are described on our website and in your service agreement.
To access our customer portal, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
Our customer portal provides access to your service history, upcoming appointments, inspection reports, invoices, and account management features. Portal access is provided as a convenience and may be modified or discontinued at any time.
Payment is due according to the terms specified in your service agreement. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Late payments may incur a service charge of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance. We reserve the right to suspend services for accounts with balances overdue by more than 60 days.
All subscription plans require a 3-month initial commitment. After the initial 3 months, you may cancel at any time with 30 days' written notice by email to jim@herbalshield.com. Services will continue through the end of the current billing period. No refunds will be issued for the current billing period. Your portal account will remain accessible for 90 days after cancellation for record access.
If pest activity persists between scheduled treatments, we will return at no additional charge for covered pests within your subscription plan. Return visit requests must be made within your service period. Botanical and mineral-based pest management is an ongoing process, and complete elimination of all pests cannot be guaranteed.
You agree to provide reasonable access to your property for scheduled service visits. If a technician cannot access the property at the scheduled time, a trip charge may apply. You are responsible for any property preparation instructions communicated prior to service.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Herbal Shield's total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
All content on the Herbal Shield website, including text, images, logos, and materials, is the property of Herbal Shield, LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Maryland.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
